Lentils and bean curries are the cornerstone of Indian food and are collectively known as Daal. Daals are delicious and really healthy so perfect food really. They usually take a fair amount of time to prepare from scratch so we've done the hard work for you.

We've chosen four of our favourites daals: Classic Tarka Daal, Delhi Black Makhani Daal, Punjabi Channa Masala and Bengali Coconut Daal. We've loved experimenting with them in the kitchen to create a range of interesting recipes - sometimes fused with cuisines from other parts of the world.

We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
